Research interests: Modesty and restraint (谦抑性) encryption methods for multimedia content.
The current field of multimedia encryption typically erases all information indiscriminately to ensure data security, failing to meet the needs of ordinary individuals.
As a result, in daily life, people often opt for mosaic-based protection rather than encryption for their multimedia content.
That is, ordinary individuals require protection, but not complete protection.
I considered the conflict between traditional encryption techniques and the needs of ordinary individuals,
focusing on developing novel multimedia encryption methods that balance security and usability by retaining coarse information.
I refer to this approach as modesty and restraint multimedia encryption.
